Mauro Dalla Serra

Born in 1962, married with two sons (1994 and 2002). 1990: Degree in Physics at the Univ. of Trento; 1998-1999: Post-Doc position as Assistant Scientist Researcher at the Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas (Supervisor Hagan Bayley); Qualified as Full University Professor at the National Scientific Qualification 2012 in Applied Physics (sector 02/B3) and in General Biochemistry & Clinical Biochemistry (sector 05/E1). Presently, I am Research Director at the Italian National Research Council (CNR) and Director of the CNR - Institute of Biophysics. I’m an active member of the Italian Society for Pure and Applied Biophysics (SIBPA); since 2015 I’m serving EBSA as a member of the Executive Committee acting as vice-president since 2023; I’m Italian Vice-Delegate to IUPAB.
