Debora Baroni

Research staff

In 2001 I got my degree in Biology and in 2005 a PhD in Pharmacology and Clinical Toxicology at the University of Genoa. My research activities consists in in vitro and in vivo toxicity and carcinogenicity studies and in in vitro studies on the pharmacological activity of compounds of new synthesis. I am leading also studies aimed to the functional and biochmical characterization of the mutations of the voltage-gated sodium channel subunits related to hereditary channelopathies and to define the structural and functional features of wild type and mutant CFTR proteins. In particular I am getting involved in the evaluation of the pharmacological effects of new CFTR modulators.
